White label web development for agencies — your brand on the work, my hands on the code
You sold the website. Your developer just quit, or you never had one. I build WordPress, Shopify and Next.js sites for digital agencies under your name — your client never hears from me, you keep the relationship and the margin, and the site ships fast enough to pass Core Web Vitals on day one.
White label web development, in one table
White label web development means an outside developer builds the website and your agency delivers it to the client as your own work. I'm a freelance developer in Delhi NCR who does exactly that for agencies in India, the US, the UK and Australia — under NDA, inside your tools, with no contact with your client unless you ask for it.

When agencies hand development to a white label partner
Most agencies I talk to aren't short on clients. They're short on reliable developers.
One resignation and three client sites stall. Hiring takes 6–10 weeks. A white label developer can pick up the half-built project from your repo or staging site this week and finish it under your name.
Plenty of SEO and ads agencies close website deals because clients ask for them. Building a dev team for 3–4 sites a quarter doesn't make sense. Outsourcing turns those deals into margin instead of a hiring problem.
Retainer clients eat the hours. New builds slip. I take the new builds or the maintenance queue, so your team works on whatever earns more for you.
Shopify speed fixes, a Next.js migration, WooCommerce with custom checkout rules. Saying no loses the account. Saying yes without the skills loses it slower. A specialist partner covers the gap.

What I'm not — so you can decide quickly
I'm one senior developer, not a 50-person offshore team. That means you talk to the person writing the code, and quality doesn't drop when a project gets reassigned. It also means I take a limited number of agency partners at a time — usually 3 or 4 — so I can actually hit your deadlines.
I won't undercut you to your own client. I'm a freelancer, so I have a stake in this answer: if your client ever finds me and asks me to work directly, I send them back to you. That's in the NDA, and it's the only way white label partnerships last.
I'm not the cheapest option in India. You'll find $150 WordPress sites. You'll also find them failing Core Web Vitals and shipping with 40 plugins. My pricing assumes the site has to rank and convert, because your agency's name is on it.
White label web development questions from agencies
What is white label web development?
White label web development is when an outside developer builds a website and a digital agency delivers it to its client as the agency's own work. The developer stays invisible: no credits in the footer, no direct contact with the end client, and the agency keeps the relationship and sets its own price. For agencies without an in-house development team, it turns website sales into margin without the cost of hiring full-time developers.
Is white labeling legal in India?
Yes. White labeling is legal in India and is a normal business arrangement between an agency and a subcontractor. What makes it clean is a written agreement: an NDA that covers client confidentiality, a clause that the subcontractor won't solicit your clients, and clear ownership of the code and design once you've paid. I sign an NDA before seeing any client details, and full ownership of the work transfers to your agency on final payment.
How much does white label web development cost?
With me, a 5–10 page WordPress business site costs $350–$1,000 (₹25,000–₹75,000), a Shopify or WooCommerce store $600–$2,000, and a Next.js build $1,000–$4,000 depending on scope. Landing pages start around $150. Every project gets a fixed quote within 24 hours of receiving the brief. Agencies usually resell these at 1.5–3× the cost, so the margin covers project management and client communication on your side.
Will my client ever know you built the site?
No, unless you decide to tell them. I don't add credits or footer links, I work on your staging server and inside your project tools, and I don't contact your client. If you want me on a client call, I join as part of your team under your agency's name. The NDA also includes a non-solicitation clause, so if your client ever reaches out to me directly, I send them back to you.
How do you handle time zones for US, UK and Australian agencies?
I work roughly 2pm to 1am IST, which overlaps with US East Coast mornings, the full UK business day and the Australian afternoon. Most agencies get an update at the start of their day and send feedback before they log off, so the project moves forward overnight. For urgent launches I can shift hours for a few days. Communication runs in your Slack, email or project tool, so nothing depends on WhatsApp.
Can you take over a half-finished project from another developer?
Yes, that's one of the most common requests I get from agencies. I'll review the repository or staging site first and tell you honestly whether it's worth finishing or faster to rebuild parts of it. Typical rescue issues are bloated page builders, missing responsive styles and broken WooCommerce flows. You get a fixed quote for the rescue before I start, so you can price the remaining work to your client with confidence.
